The recent Hydro Belize IPO was oversubscribed by over half a million Belize dollars! The offer closed on January 21, 2026.

According to the Director General of Belize’s Financial Services Commission (FSC), Claude Haylock, over 2000 people applied to buy shares in the company.

The offer was open to Belizean citizens anywhere in the world.

Haylock said that although Belize has no stock market for investors to sell their shares, you can sell them privately once you find a buyer.
